- What is the BMS?
The BMS or Border Mail System, is a proprietary email border protection email service for DigitalCiti.com customers. WE ARE NOT A DNSBL OR RBL. We maintain our own block list and require that all email inbound or outbound from our systems pass through this mail system. We do not allow external querying of our block list by 3rd parties.
- How did I get listed?
Our list is compiled daily based on log activity from connecting hosts. The block is only inserted into our database once a connecting host has exceeded the threshold for a given trigger. Triggers in our system include HELO/EHLO failures, RDNS failures, SPAM exceeding 15.0 points, listing in Spamhaus, Spamcop, or Barracuda's DNSBL, or a manually inserted block based on user complaints. Listings are automatically removed after 120 days. To file a complaint about a listing or request delisting, please contact support by using the information below.
